Goals and list and, and....

With a full house and so much on my schedule my head was spinning!

There are tons of things we all want to get done/work towards. But when all our plans are jumbled and unorganized it can become overwhelming and cause us to go the wrong direction. Even backwards!!

I'm thankful for 1$ calendars and google accounts. My schedule is now color coded and I have a to-do for every day. Gotta stay focused!

Did you know you can make a calendar for every category of your life? I <3 google calendar. This helps you seperate your free time.

Before I felt like I didn't have a minute. Now I see I have hours to get in family time or ME time!

Do you keep a calendar?

Your body can do this too

I do 57 min workouts, drink tea, sweat and most of all smile.
This is not me. This is someone new. Someone better, kinder, more patient and....happy.

I have never felt such a sense of happiness. Blissful happy. I mean working every day sweating and avoiding things like processed food should make me grumpy and impatient. The exact opposite.

I've found an inner strength I never knew was hiding. I found willpower.

When I first started. Shaun t said in the videos "your body can do this too"
I stopped and laughed. Said some choice words then finished my workout.

I am on day 5 of month two and I CAN DO THE SAME THING WITH MY BODY!
Sure some workouts I still modify but the point is I can do them.

It took me so long to realize being the best me isn't magic. There's no special secret hiding somewhere in the universe.

there is only work. I put the work in and I (just me) will get the results. No one can do it for me and I cannot buy it. I can only work for it.

I've never wanted something this bad. To be healthy and happy for the rest of my life.

Not only that. I want to help others. Share my story and inspire them to take the steps to change. To be able to do their workout as their warm up. Their battle into their story.

I want to change lives. By changing mine

This is me from earlier today. I dropped a shirt size. And I was sure happy ^_^

One month

I've been pushing. For a month. December 10th I started my change.

Be the best me I can be.
Do whatever needs to be done to be healthy and happy. The RIGHT way. No shortcuts.

I'm proud of the hard work I have put in and I continue to push myself. After all I'm the only one who can do this for myself.

Some things I want to share about my lifestyle and what I'm eating so there is no confusion.
~I'm a 25 year old married mom of 3.~

My husband loves home cooked meals. Just like most guys he wants those meals to be hearty and filling. The problem I had with this is our bodies are so different. He has a high metabolism and is on his feet a lot more than I. These hearty meals are not the best thing for my figure. Or health.

I started my change by finding meals and recipes (affordable and also simple) I didn't want to go overboard and quit.
INSTAGRAM AND PINTEREST. I LOVE YOU.

I found some easy things. Like switching Mayo for Greek yogurt (I can't taste the difference) also portion control. I found amazing profiles to follow that focus on NOT GIVING UP. One bad meal won't break me. Just gotta keep going.

After setting some goals.
More water and less snacks (chips and junk food)
Following them. And also my favorite.

INSANITY and becoming part of a beach body group. I have worked my way through the fat and started my journey to fit!

The photo on the right is Father's Day 2013

I started. Just said "today I'm gonna change" so far I've lost 7lbs and have 34 inch hip size.
I am not done yet. I plan on becoming the healthiest I can be. Strongest I can be. HAPPIEST I can be.

I'm learning day by day what needs to be done. What can be done. And I'm in love with it.

How does this happen?

I have been the same person.
Never gone so far as to change a single thing about my personality or wellness. NEVER.

I can proudly say that I am 26 days into a new life journey. I have been doing the Insanity workout videos and eating as clean as I can. Yes its rocky at times and with three kids its almost a game.
But I'm doing it! I'm seeing progress too!

I have lost 2 inches in my hips and 1 inch in my waist. I am challenging myself to not look at a scale until day 60 but I can measure myself all I want.

It's the most gratifying feeling to know you are changing your body in a healthy way. I can't explain other than having a HUGE smile every time I try on an "old" pair of jeans and they are loose.

Are you changing something for the better?
